Who can apply? 

The RUWI Award is open to individuals, organisations, and projects carrying out activities in rural areas of EU Member States or Horizon Europe-associated countries.

Eligible applicants include:

• Women leading innovations in agriculture, fisheries, forestry, or rural economic diversification sectors.
• Individuals (women or men) who support women-led innovation, such as mentors, trainers, or community leaders.
• Legal entities such as companies, non-profits, cooperatives, or associations that create environments where women can thrive and innovate.

What will you win?  

The winner will gain visibility, recognition, and the opportunity to present their work at the GRASS CEILING Final Showcase Event, taking place 3–4 December 2025 at the European Parliament in Brussels, with all travel costs covered by the project.
