AKIS in action: Fostering knowledge flows and innovation: Aligning research with practice needs

Join us for an insightful event within the WoW series (Webinars on Wednesdays), hosted by modernAKIS and ATTRACTISS. We’ll explore how research can achieve real-world impact through multi-actor and co-creation approaches, bridging science, and practice. The event will also address the challenges researchers face in initiating co-creation and fostering collaboration.

This event is divided into two parts. The first session on March 19, 2025, will highlight key multi-actor concepts and strategies, including Thematic Networks and EIP-AGRI Operational Groups within agricultural knowledge and innovation systems.

  • Sergio Ponsa reveals how research drives change—by building trust, engaging stakeholders, and fostering collaboration.
  • Katja Brase presents the Network ”Focus on animal welfare”, a project enhancing knowledge transfer on animal welfare with sustainability in mind.
  • Dimitar Vanev explores Bulgarian experience in designing the EIP-AGRI projects and involvement of farmers and advisors in the operational groups.

Connect with speakers, share your insights, and explore innovative ways to enhance knowledge flow and drive innovation. Gain inspiration from expert experiences across different countries.
