EU Agri-Food Days

The second edition of the EU Agri-Food Days will take place from 10 - 12 December 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.

The EU-Agri Food Days is an annual event bringing together stakeholders from across the EU to discuss the latest agricultural trends, policy options, and market developments, as well as how research, innovation and digital technologies are shaping the European agriculture of today and tomorrow. This unmissable three-day event offers a unique platform for dialogue between EU agri-food system stakeholders, civil society, academia, and policymakers.

Programme

This year’s event programme includes sessions on:

  • the future of agriculture and food, building on the conclusions of the Strategic Dialogue and in light of the upcoming Vision for Agriculture and Food
  • the farmers’ perspective on navigating modern agriculture, and the position of farmers in the food value chain
  • the outlook for EU agricultural markets, including drivers, trends, challenges and opportunities, sustainable competitiveness and trade policies supporting food sovereignty, and research and innovation for a competitive, sustainable and resilient agricultural sector
  • how digitalisation and data sharing contribute to a dynamic and forward-looking sector and what it is like to be a young farmer today

About the EU Agri-Food Days

The EU Agri-Food Days allow stakeholders to discuss the outlook of European agriculture, agricultural market trends, food security, sustainability, digital technologies, and data flows together with farmers, EU policymakers, business representatives, analysts, and digital experts.

This event allows participants to reflect on current and upcoming challenges in the European agri-food sector and assess how the common agricultural policy and the EU Green Deal can contribute to delivering a greener, fairer and more competitive agriculture in Europe.
