We are excited to invite you to our upcoming online feedback session titled “Shaping the Future: Feedback session on the EU-FarmBook Brand Identity.” This session is for practicioners (farmers, foresters and advisors) and intermediaries (CAP Networks, Innovation brokers, scientists and Multi-actor projects) to share your valuable thoughts on the visual identity of EU-FarmBook knowledge reservoir.

Creating a digital platform that is inclusive and enhances the user experience is crucial. We recognize that user interface (UI) design is key to achieving this. Interfaces should be user-friendly, visually appealing, and free from biases that could impact usability. For example, having predominantly male or female avatars as defaults can reinforce stereotypes or exclude certain users. Your perspectives as potential platform users are vital for identifying these biases and ensuring that the EU-FarmBook effectively meets everyone’s needs.

 

Event Details:

The online session is scheduled to take place on Zoom from 11:00 to 12:30 Central European Time (CET). The official language for the workshop is English. Participants who have successfully registered will be provided with a webinar access link one day prior to the event.

 

Structure:

We will begin with a brief introduction lasting about five minutes, where we will outline the purpose of the focus group through a presentation. Following this, there will be a 20-minute introduction round. The main portion of the session (approximately one hour) will focus on discussion. During this time, we will cover several key topics, including:

• Participants’ expectations as potential users of the EU-FarmBook.
• Feedback on the platform’s visual design.
• Insights on the project’s communication style, focusing on tone and representation.
• Considerations regarding the language used in the platform’s content.
• Discussion on the FarmAssistant AI chatbot and any recommendations.
